External Evaluator Named

Susan Lange of Susan Lange Consulting has been hired to lead the external evaluation for the Continuous Growth Pathway. Lange has extensive experience serving non-profit and public sector clients in the areas of evaluation, program planning, and strategic direction. Her education background includes a B.A. in mathematics and economics from St. Olaf College and Master of Public Affairs in program evaluation from the University of Minnesota. Lange is a proven leader having provided external evaluation support for past grant projects in the Southwestern Minnesota Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

Lange has worked with the Continuous Growth Pathway leadership team to develop a program logic model and extensive evaluation plan that will serve as a guide for achieving the goals of the program and desired impact for the rostered leaders of Southern Minnesota. She has played a critical role in the development of the Continuous Growth Pathway- leading the efforts for rostered leader needs analysis, overseeing the design and implementation of an ongoing feedback gathering process, and assisting team partnership with Gallup to create the Gallup Rostered Leader Engagement Inventory.

Continuous Growth Pathway is a comprehensive leadership development and ministry support outreach of Gustavus Adolphus College in partnership with the Southeastern and Southwestern Minnesota Synods of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America for the rostered leaders of the synods and made possible by a generous grant from the Thriving in Ministry Initiative of the Lilly Endowment, Inc. Created in 2019, the Continuous Growth Pathway is an expansion of the Pastor-to-Pastor Program which Gustavus Adolphus College established in 2004 in partnership with the Southern Minnesota synods as a part of the Office of Church Relations outreach ministry of the college.
