Dear Saving God, help me to remember that your very nature is to love and save. Breathe your Holy Spirit into me today in a brand new way. So that my very pores, my bones, my breath are reminded of your saving love for me. Help my aching and loving heart remember your love. Your saving love. Help my busy life remember. My messy and imperfect life are all swept up into your saving love. Remind me that none of this is actually about me. And. Oh it’s always the And. And you also flow through me to help others see you. It’s miraculous that you come into my life in this way to point to something so mysterious and so awesome. Thank you, God. Send me out today to be amongst the parade-goers. Help me to proclaim, “Hosanna in the highest!” at the top of my voice as your Saving Love makes your presence known. In my life. In the lives of those I’ve been called to love and serve. Get all of our eyes on your son, Jesus!

Inspire my colleagues today with your Holy Spirit. And breathe new life and love that only you can into the loves of my life – my closest family and friends, born into or chosen. Help us remember you in our lives together and to reflect your love.

Thank you for your love and faithfulness to me, saving God. I love you. Amen.

Deep breaths today, dear Pastor, dear Deacon, dear Chaplain. Your labor in the Lord is not in vain. Don’t be afraid – God is with you.
